Why did I want to become a Pilates Instructor?
Having practiced Pilates for over a decade, my journey started as a compliment to my dance training. It didn’t take long before I became enamored with it. The natural synergy between teaching and Pilates felt like the perfect progression, merging my passions into one fulfilling practice.
Best part about being an Instructor?
My favorite aspect of pIlates is witnessing its incredible capacity to heal bodies, both mentally and physically. I’m truly passionate about the sense of community it fosters and the freedom it enables the body to experience. Through my dedication to Pilates, I aim to guide individuals towards greater health and liberation, empowering them to thrive in both mind and body.

Why did I want to become a Pilates Instructor?
I originally got into Pilates after having back and brain surgery in 2015. Due to Scoliosis when I was 12 years old, I had to wear a back brace for 3 years. Over the years my back had worsened, needing surgery to fix everything. An MRI showed spinal fluid collecting in the back of my skull rushing me to brain surgery. I then had spinal fusion a few months after. I wasn’t allowed to exercise or do any form of high intensity training for a full year to insure my back was fully fused. I was very weak and needed to rebuild my strength. Frustrated at times as every source of exercise hurt me, until I found pilates. A family friend introduced me to the reformer and I instantly fell in love. I was so excited to finally find an exercise program that didn’t hurt my back and could build my muscles without pain. I am forever grateful for my family friend who introduced me to pilates and eventually pushed me to be an instructor!
